Behind the Book
I always had a problem with the explanation of the age of the earth from the viewpoint of the Church. Most theologians say the earth is only six thousand years old. On the other hand, scientists' say that the earth is millions of years old! I have no scientific knowledge whatsoever; but I do know how to research the Bible. I began my research by looking for a link between Creation and scientific facts. The answer had to be in the Word of God somewhere! It took months of reading and research to realize that I needed help in my quest. I was getting absolutely nowhere. So, I did what I should have done in the first place. I Prayed! After my prayer the Lord took me to Job 26. I read the chapter and had no idea what it was talking about. I read it again and again and again! I still had no idea what I was reading. So, what did I do next? I Prayed! The Lord told me to break down each verse word by word using my English/Hebrew dictionary. Suddenly the chapter came to life! This was the beginning of the unraveling of a mystery that has escaped mankind since Adam! This mystery is now revealed for the whole world to read.
